The first month of 2017 is at an end, and it has been quite an eventful month. For many of us we are trying to stay motivated with our resolutions, or still trying to start them. Where ever you are at this point in the month, its ok, a new month approaches with new opportunities to start fresh or push forward. Before moving forward, i think it is important to evaluate our first month in 2017. So much has happened, and it can be easy to get caught up in our daily lives, or in the worlds events. Taking time to reflect, and realign our purpose keeps us motivated for the next month in our journey. Below are a few questions to kick start your reflection for the month of January.
1) Most memorable experience this month.
The different gatherings i had with my girlfriends, we laughed and ate way to much this month, but those moments are the best and i would not change any of it.
2) Three things you are grateful for.
1- My book club.
2- Supportive parents
3-The desire to live mindfully
3) Three things you need to improve on.
1- My night time routine
2- Eating habits
3- My obsessive brain. I worry too much.
4) Biggest lesson you learned this month.
It is more beneficial to be present in life than to attempt to create a perfect life.
5)Three goals for next month.
1- Try Yoga, flexibility and exercise is important.
2- Cook more, eat out less.
3- More bible study, and time to connect with Christ.
