I met Chris a little over 4 years ago when Kris (mentioned in previous post) introduced us. I immediately liked him and a few weeks into their relationship, I found out why. Kris observed that her boyfriend and I share quite a bit in common, from our favorite movies (we’re James Bond freaks) to peculiar preferences (we loathe olives). It’s an ongoing joke that she fell for the male version of me… dating an extension of me, if you will. Chris is a laid back, genuinely good guy with a big heart, not to mention he makes my best friend incredibly happy; a definite bonus.
His style is NYC casual and very much on trend for the fashion-conscious young men of the five boroughs. It has nothing to do with mainstream/uniformed modes of style and everything to do with individuality. It reflects a stark defiance to the belief that young urban male fashion is generally unkempt or sloppy. Chris’ personal style embodies casual, sophisticated comfort with the practicality and ease of a Big Apple commuter.
