Most people think of rompers as summer attire. It’s a quick one step outfit that require litte effort or color coordination. During the fall, long sleeved shorts rompers are a rarity. Most fall clothing are purposed to cover up the body, not expose an entire area. However, living in Southern California with its mild mannered weather, I’m able to get away with this outfit without freezing my butt off. Adding tights and a cardigan was my way of making this romper Autumn Appropriate. Tights are a great way to make a short skirt or dress shorts suitable and comfortable in cold weather.
Lastly, all hail to my great shoe find: good quality brown oxford heels. I bought these at Payless (yes, I said Payless) last Fall on sale. I was initially looking for oxfords for my college best friend and stumbled on these, along with two other great pairs, on the Payless website. I love high end items just as much as the next gal, but I think being able to find great quality items while saving money is a huge bonus. It’s definitely possible to look on trend and stay on budget!
